Atibaia - City founded in 1665 by pioneer Jerônimo de Camargo, who settled on the spot and built a chapel on the hill with the invocation of São João Batista. In 1747, the village became a district of São João de Tybhaia. In 1769, the district became a city of São João de Atibaia and 1905, had its name changed to Atibaia – which in the Indian language means ranch or healthy orchard.
Tourist attractions: Paraglider, Estação Atibaia, tree climbing, bathing place, Pedra Grande, railway museum and the Water Park.
Belongs to two circuits: Between Hills and Waters and of the Fruit.
