Cachoeira Paulista - Always related to a local waterfall in the Paraiba River, the city has had several names: Cachoeira, Corredeiras, Porto de Cachoeira, Cachoeira do Lorena, Santo Antônio do Porto da Cachoeira, Cachoeiras, Valparaíba and Cachoeira Paulista. The city has lived on coffee plantations, railways, and today can be classified as a tourist town, with a vocation for ecotourism and religious tourism.
