Cachoeira Paulista - Always related to a local waterfall in the Paraiba River, the city has had several names: Cachoeira, Corredeiras, Porto de Cachoeira, Cachoeira do Lorena, Santo Antônio do Porto da Cachoeira, Cachoeiras, Valparaíba and Cachoeira Paulista. The first buildings were miserable huts of poor countrymen, mostly fishermen of the river. The most historic moments of Cachoeira Paulista were held in 1932 during the Constitutional Revolution. The city has lived on coffee plantations, railways, and today can be classified as a tourist town, with a vocation for ecotourism and religious tourism.

Tourist attractions: Ecological Park, Igreja Santa Cabeça and museums.

Part of three circuits: Religioso, da Fé e Estada Real.
