Eldorado - The origin of the name refers to gold that attracted the first settlers, in an allusion to the legend of "Eldorado", the imaginary country of South America, sought by many European explorers after the discovery. Its development was only activated after the implementation of Regis Bittencourt - BR-116. It also contributed markedly in their progress the intense Japanese immigration, which was located in the region.
